Block companies for the entire organization by clicking on the "Blocklist" button. You can find it in your Settings in the top right corner of the Organization page. A dropdown menu will be shown where "Blocklist" is the first option. In the Blocklist, you can block certain companies from appearing in future searches such as competitors or customers etc.
Overview
In the blocklist, you have an overview of your blocked companies, a search bar for finding specific companies, and buttons for uploading new companies to your blocklist (upload a list or type in individual companies).
Upload list
Begin by exporting a list of existing customers (company names only) from your current CRM or similar.
To upload your company blocklist to Andsend you need to:
Export companies as an Excel or CSV file (In Excel: File > Save As > Browse and set CSV under "Save as type")
Only use one column with company names.
Make sure when you upload the list of companies that you exclude legal entity names, e.g. AB, inc, or LLC.
To upload the blocklist to Andsend, click on the "Upload list" button.
Now drag your CSV file and drop it on the pop-up screen or click to upload.
βClick "Next" to see the list of all the companies that you blocked.
βIf the uploaded companies are correct, press "Block Companies". Congratulations you have now uploaded your first blocklist π₯³
Type in manually
Go to the Blocklist
Click on the "Type in companies" and search for the company you want to block
βClick on the company you want to block and then click the "Block" button to add the company to your blocklist.
To ensure a company is blocked
For a company to become blocked, it's required that all words are in the company name you're blocking and are in the right order (words in between are allowed).
"Chacha group" had blocked:
β Chacha group
β Chacha group Sweden AB
β Cacha the best group ever (since "chacha" and "group" are present in the correct order, and more words in between are allowed)
"Chacha group" had NOT blocked:
β Chacha (because it lacks "group")
β Group Chacha (because the order is incorrect)
